AT THE MOMENT WE DON'T SHIP OUR PLANTS,

WE ONLY OFFER LOCAL PICKUP IN GENT (BELGIUM)
Alocasia Longiloba Magnifica is an aroid part of the family of Araceae. These plants are also known as Elephant’s Ear because of their large leaves with jagged ridges. They spend a lot of time and energy in forming a tree-like stem to give them a more sturdy base. New leaves are formed within the petiole of the previous leaf. Once the developing leaf dies inside the petiole, the plant will not be able to grow new leaves.
Alocasia’s like a lot of direct sunlight. During the summer they will need a lot of water to keep their leaves and petioles firm and upright. Alocasia are unfortunately prone to thrips and spider-mites. To prevent the plant from attracting pests, a high humidity is key. This makes them a bit more difficult for the beginning plant lover.

HEIGHT AND CONDITION

We offer each plant individually for sale. This means the plant you see is the plant you will receive.

Please note that the first 2-3 images are general as a showcase for the plant and are not of the plant for sale. To see the exact plant, click one of the variants for sale ("Pick your plant baby").

If the plants have been up for sale for a while, this means the plant can be bigger than displayed, or has lost or gained leaves.
The colors on the pictures on our overview page are more true-to-color than the individual plant pictures.
